Mirad no estéis de vos tan confiada
que en ver que en tanto extremo sois hermosa,
guardad que es confianza peligrosa,
que habéis de amar queriendo ser amada.

Me diréis vos que no estáis puesta en eso
mas antes deseáis que os aborrezca,
que en esto tenéis vos por buena vida.

Guardad que suele amor castigar eso
porque la gente no se ensoberbezca
para que queráis bien sin ser querida.
