Amor anda corrido y afrentado,
porque ya el interés vence su efecto,
y no le basta ya el ser perfecto
para no ser de damas difamado.
De hoy más pretende ser asoldadazo,
y hacerse la interés tan bien sujeto,
por si se le verá mejor acepto
hiriendo por amores de contado.
No pretende hoy más los corazones
sino las arcas de los caudalosos,
que así se halla el amor más verdadero.
Dineros son suspiros amorosos,
que es la mejor canción de las canciones,
que ya no existe amor do no hay dinero.
