Silvano y Nemoroso, apasionados,
entrambos por Selvagia grandemente
ante ella de rodilla humildemente
le ruega cada cual por sus cuidados.
Silvano con acentos entonados
bien sabe querellarse tiernamente,
mas Nemoroso calla el mal que siente,
porque es común lenguaje de cuidados.
Valer quiere Selvagia al que más pena
y al otro dar entero desengaño,
al que callaba en fin quiso entregarse.
Tuya -dice- es pastor la suerte buena,
que ese otro no padeces mal tamaño
pues no impide a la lengua el publicarse.
