No hay ya para mis males sufrimiento,
pues tras vivir de amores más penado
me dicen que es fingido mi cuidado
y burla todo el daño y mal que siento.
Tras tantas veras, y tan gran tormento
las burlas son pesadas a un cuidado,
pues no hay mayor dolor que a un lastimado
mostrarle no creer su sentimiento.
Decís que burlo, creyendo otra cosa,
pues harto desengaña mi figura,
y no me lo mostréis por más perderme.
Pero si sois incrédula y dudosa,
mirad, señora, bien vuestra hermosura,
y habréis por fuerza o grado de creerme.
