no les turba los lustres naturales,
ni el influjo común desacredita;

Ni tú, si la magnánima epiqueya
se opone a los derechos que nos rigen,
de su ornato purpúreo los desnudes;

que, aunque ella tiene altísimo el origen,
no ha de pensar que las demás virtudes
en su presencia son turba plebeya.
