de hoy más ni Tolomeo a Berinice
de casta ni a su Porcia alabe Bruto.

Oh César, oh repúblicas y reyes,
si Lice excede a egipcias o romanas
edificad a Clito estatuas y arcos.

Perezca la ley Julia. Vengan ranas;
pesquen los magistrados por los charcos,
pues hacen más las ranas que las leyes.
