Engañaste, Galeso, si barruntas
que alguna vez me pareciste sabio;
que tu fisonomía es astrolabio
por donde yo averiguo mis preguntas.

Tu frente es breve, a quien las cejas juntas
y la roma nariz hacen agravio
los dos bigotes sobre el grueso labio,
que se miran recíprocas las puntas.

Dirásme que desmiente a las facciones
espíritu gentil algunas veces,
y así, no puede haber certeza en esto.

Pero si no eres tú lo que pareces,
sino que hay discreción tras ese gesto,
en la encinas nacerán melones.
