Su cabello en holanda generosa
Fili enjugó, imitando al real decoro
con que orna su tocado, persa o moro,
bárbara infanta o preferida esposa.

Notando mi atención la inculta hermosa,
libró del lino el húmedo tesoro,
y suelto en crespas ondas, cubrió el oro
la cerviz tersa que extendió la rosa.

Y el pecho en que de pura leche iguales
forman sus dos relieves paraíso,
donde benigna honestidad se anida,

yo no sé si premiar o matar quiso;
que ambos objetos dan veneno y vida,
avaros de su gloria y liberales.
