Firmio, en tu edad ningún peligro hay leve;
porque nos hablas ya con voz oscura,
y, aunque dudoso, el bozo a tu blancura
sobre ese labio superior se atreve.

Y en ti, oh, Drusila, de sutil relieve
el pecho sus dos bultos apresura,
y en cada cual, sobre la cumbre pura,
vivo forma un rubí su centro breve.

Sienta vuestra amistad leyes mayores:
que siempre Amor para el primer veneno

Si astuto el áspid se escondió en lo ameno
