Si extranjeras Regiones fatigando
estoy por no saber, justo sería
que se acabara con la pena mía
la vida pues lo estoy solicitando.

Vivir para morir es ir llevando
el dolor con tiránica osadía;
o acabe de llegar tan largo día
o viva eterno este morir penando.

Mas en vano mi espíritu lamenta
desprecios cuando la contraria suerte
quiere que no los diga y que los sienta.

Y si ha de ser mi mal tan firme y fuerte,
una de dos, o quíteme la afrenta
o sepúlteme luego con la muerte.
