Ya rendida y postrada más que barra,
a nuestros pies mi Musa reverente,
por coronar con ellos a su frente,
del suelo sube al cielo más lozana.

Por convencida ostenta gloria ufana,
que tiene por corona floreciente
el quedarse rendida eternamente,
porque humillada al triunfo se hermana.

Rendimiento fiel hace pomposa,
que en beber los castalios crecimientos
se adquiere la ventura más dichosa.

A que Fénix no causa mil tormentos
ver que triunfa humillada y tan gloriosa
por ser rendida a vuestro lucimiento.
