vuestra pompa en retiros minorad.

Porque salió Marica de un desmayo,
flor en las gallardías más vistosas
que brotó Primavera, Abril y Mayo.

Pero a su vista os quedaréis hermosas,
suplicándola humildes un ensayo,
azucena, clavel, jazmín y rosas.
