vaiśvānaramityagnimevainaṃ vaiśvānaraṃ gamayati saprathasaṃ gaceti

prajayaivainam paśubhiḥ prathayati svāhākṛta iti vaṣaṭkāra evāsyaiṣa svagā tvā

devebhya iti devebhya evainaṃ svagā karoti prajāpataya iti prājāpatyo'śvaḥ

svayaivainaṃ devatayā samardhayati

brahmāṇamāmantrayate brahmaṇa evainam pratiprocya badhnāti nārtimārcati taṃ

badhāna devebhyaḥ prajāpataye tena rādhnuhīti brahmā prasauti svayaivainaṃ

pāpīyānbhavatyaṣṭācatvāriṃśataṃ juhotyaṣṭācatvāriṃśadakṣarā jagatī jāgatāḥ paśavo

jagatyaivāsmai paśūnavarunddha ekamatiriktaṃ juhoti tasmādekaḥ prajāsvardhukaḥ

manuṣyāśca paśavaśca kṣemyā bhavantyatha yatprātariṣṭibhiryajata icatyevainaṃ

tattasmāddivā naṣṭaiṣa eti yadveva sāyaṃ dhṛtīrjuhoti prātariṣṭibhiryajate

yogakṣemameva tadyajamānaḥ kalpayate tasmādyatraitena yajñena yajante kLptaḥ

prajānāṃ yogakṣemo bhavati

apa vā etasmāt śrī rāṣṭraṃ krāmati yo'śvamedhena yajate yadā vai puruṣaḥ śriyaṃ

etadrūpaṃ yadvīṇā śriyamevāsmiṃstaddhattaḥ

rājanyo'nyo brahma vai brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatraṃ rājanyastadasya brahmaṇā ca kṣatreṇa

cobhayataḥ śrīḥ parigṛhītā bhavati

tadāhuḥ yadubhau divā gāyetām prabhraṃśukāsmācrīḥ syādbrahmaṇo vā etadrūpaṃ

yadaharyadā vai rājā kāmayate'tha brāhmaṇaṃ jināti pāpīyāṃstu bhavati

yadubhau naktam apāsmādbrahmavarcasaṃ krāmetkṣatrasya vā etadrūpaṃ

yadrātrirna vai kṣatre brahmavarcasaṃ ramata iti divā brāhmaṇo gāyati naktaṃ

rājanyastatho hāsya brahmaṇā ca kṣatreṇa cobhayataḥ śrīḥ parigṛhītā bhavatīti

ayajatetyadadāditi brāhmaṇo gāyatīṣṭāpūrtaṃ vai brāhmaṇasyeṣṭāpūrtenaivainaṃ sa

samardhayatītyayudhyatetyamuṃ saṃgrāmamajayaditi rājanyo yuddhaṃ vai

rājanyasya vīryaṃ vīryeṇaivainaṃ sa samardhayati tisro'nyo gāthā gāyati tisro'nyaḥ

ṣaṭ sampadyante ṣaḍṛtavaḥ saṃvatsara ṛtuṣveva saṃvatsare pratitiṣṭhati tābhyāṃ

śataṃ dadāti śatāyurvai puruṣaḥ śatendriya āyurevendriyaṃ vīryamātmandhatte

vibhūrmātrā prabhūḥ pitreti iyaṃ vai mātāsau pitābhyāmevainam paridadātyaśvo'si

hayo'sīti śāstyevainaṃ tattasmāciṣṭāḥ prajā jāyante'tyo'si mayo'sītyatyevainaṃ nayati

tasmādaśvaḥ paśūnāṃ śraiṣṭhyaṃ gacatyarvāsi saptirasi vājyasīti

yathāyajurevaitadvṛṣāsi nṛmaṇā asīti mithunatvāya yayurnāmāsi śiśurnāmāsītyetadvā

aśvasya priyaṃ nāmadheyam priyeṇaivainaṃ nāmnābhivadati tasmādapyāmitrau

saṃgatya nāmnā cedabhivadato'nyo'nyaṃ sameva jānāte

ādityānām patvānvihīti ādityānevainaṃ gamayati devā āśāpālā etaṃ devebhyo'śvam

medhāya prokṣitaṃ rakṣateti śataṃ vai talpyā rājaputrā āśāpālāstebhya evainam

paridadātīha rantiriha ramatāmiha dhṛtiriha svadhṛtiḥ svāheti

saṃvatsaramāhutīrjuhoti ṣoḍaśa navatīretā vā aśvasya bandhanaṃ tābhirevainam

badhnāti tasmādaśvaḥ pramukto bandhanamāgacati ṣoḍaśa navatīretā vā aśvasya

bandhanaṃ tābhirevainam badhnāti tasmādaśvaḥ pramukto bandhanaṃ na jahāti

rāṣṭraṃ vā aśvamedhaḥ rāṣṭra ete vyāyacante ye'śvaṃ rakṣanti teṣāṃ ya udṛcaṃ

gacanti rāṣṭreṇaiva te rāṣṭram bhavantyatha ye nodṛcaṃ gacanti rāṣṭrātte

vyavacidyante tasmādrāṣṭryaśvamedhena yajeta parā vā eṣa sicyate

yo'balo'śvamedhena yajate yadyamitrā aśvaṃ vinderanyajño'sya vicidyeta

pāpīyāntsyācataṃ kavacino rakṣanti yajñasya saṃtatyā avyavacedāya na

pāpīyānbhavatyathānyamānīya prokṣeyuḥ saiva tatra prāyaścittiḥ

dīkṣāmeva tairyajamāno'varunddhe'nvahaṃ juhotyanvahameva dīkṣāmavarunddhe

yogakṣemo vai tatra kalpate yatraitena yajñena yajante tasmādyatraitena yajñena

sarvastomo'tirātra uttamamaharbhavati sarvaṃ vai sarvastomo'tirātraḥ

yadekādaśinī tasyai ya ekādaśa stana evāsyai sa duha evaināṃ tena

aśvamedhe trīṇi śīrṣāṇi tāni ya evaṃ veda śiro ha rājñām bhavati yo vā aśvamedhe

tisraḥ kakudo veda kakuddha rājñām bhavatyekaviṃśo'gnirbhavatyekaviṃśa stoma

ekaviṃśatiryūpā etā aśvamedhe tisraḥ kakudastā ya evaṃ veda kakuddha rājñām

dyāvāpṛthivyorvai sarvā devatāḥ pratiṣṭhitāstā evaitatprīṇāti devāsurāḥ saṃyattā āsan

brahmaghne bheṣajaṃ karoti tasmādyasyaiṣāśvamedha āhutirhūyate'pi yo'syāparīṣu

ṣoḍaśāśvastomīyā juhoti ṣoḍaśakalā vai paśavaḥ sā paśūnām mātrā paśūnena

mātrayā samardhayati yatkanīyasīrvā bhūyasīrvā juhuyātpaśūnmātrayā

vyardhayetṣoḍaśa juhoti ṣoḍaśakalā vai paśavaḥ sā paśūnām mātrā paśūneva

mātrayā samardhayati nānyāmuttamāmāhutiṃ juhoti yadanyāmuttamāmāhutiṃ

juhuyātpratiṣṭhāyai cyaveta dvipadā uttamā juhoti pratiṣṭhā vai dvipadāḥ pratyeva

tiṣṭhati jumbakāya svāhetyavabhṛtha uttamāmāhutiṃ juhoti varuṇo vai jumbakaḥ

sākṣādeva varuṇamavayajate śuklasya khalaterviklidhasya piṅgākṣasya mūrdhani

juhotyetadvai varuṇasya rūpaṃ rūpeṇaiva varuṇamavayajate

dvādaśa brahmaudanānutthāya nirvapati dvādaśabhirveṣṭibhiryajate

tadāhuryajñasya vā etadrūpaṃ yadiṣṭayo yadiṣṭibhiryajetopanāmuka enaṃ yajñaḥ

syātpāpīyāṃstu syādyātayāmāni vā etadījānasya candāṃsi bhavanti tāni kimetāvadāśu

prayuñjīta sarvā vai saṃsthite yajñe vāgāpyate sātrāptā yātayāmnī bhavati krūrīkṛteva

hi bhavatyaruṣkṛtā vāgvai yajñastasmānna prayuñjīteti

dvādaśaiva brahmaudanānutthāya nirvapet prajāpatirvā odanaḥ prajāpatiḥ

prītānyamālambhāyānumanyate tayānumatamālabhate sa yadyavamayo bhavati

varuṇyā hi yavāḥ

taddyāvāpṛthivī naśyati tadvāyurupavātyādityo'bhitapati naitābhyo devatābhya ṛte kiṃ

cana naśyati saiṣā pṛthageva naṣṭavedanī sa yadyasyāpyanyannaśyedetayaiva

yajetānu haivainadvindatyatha yadyamitrā aśvaṃ vinderanyadi vā mriyeta yadi

vāpsvanyamānīya prokṣeyuḥ saiva tatra prāyaścittiḥ

saṃvatsaraḥ sarvaṃ saṃvatsaraḥ sarvamaśvamedhaḥ sarvasyāptyai sarvasyāvaruddhyai

tamete catvāra ṛtvijaḥ prāśnanti teṣāmuktam brāhmaṇaṃ tebhyaścatvāri sahasrāṇi

catvāri ca suvarṇāni śatamānāni hiraṇyāni tasyo evoktam

tasyai pañcadaśa sāmidhenyo bhavanti pañcadaśo vai vajro vīryaṃ vajro

vajreṇaivaitadvīryeṇa yajamānaḥ purastātpāpmānamapahate vārtraghnāvājyabhāgau

pāpmā vai vṛtraḥ pāpmano'pahatyā agnirmūrdhā divaḥ kakudbhuvo yajñasya

rajasaśca netetyupāṃśu haviṣo yājyānuvākye mūrdhanvatyanyā bhavati

sadvatyanyaiṣa vai mūrdhā ya eṣa tapatyetasyaivāvaruddhyā atha yatsadvatī

sadevāvarunddhe virājau saṃyājye sarvadevatyaṃ vā etaccando yadvirāṭ sarve kāmā

aśvamedhe sarvāndevānprītvā sarvānkāmānāpnavānīti hiraṇyaṃ dakṣiṇā suvarṇaṃ

śatamānaṃ tasyoktam brāhmaṇam

atha pauṣṇīṃ nirvapati pūṣā vai pathīnāmadhipatiraśvāyaivaitatsvastyayanaṃ

karotyatho iyaṃ vai pūṣemāmevāsmā etadgoptrīṃ karoti tasya hi nārtirasti na hvalā

yamiyamadhvangopāyatīmāmevāsmā etadgoptrīṃ karoti

tasyai saptadaśa sāmidhenyo bhavanti saptadaśo vai prajāpatiḥ

prajāpatiraśvamedho'śvamedhasyaivāptyai vṛdhanvantāvājyabhāgau yajamānasyaiva

vṛddhyai pūṣaṃstava vrate vayam pathaspathaḥ paripatiṃ vacasyetyupāṃśu haviṣo

yājyānuvākye vratavatyanyā bhavati pathanvatyanyā vīryaṃ vai vrataṃ vīryasyāptyai

vīryasyāvaruddhyā atha yatpathanvatyaśvāyaivaitatsvastyayanaṃ karotyanuṣṭubhau

saṃyājye vāgvā anuṣṭubvāgvai prajāpatiḥ prajāpatiraśvamedho'śvamedhasyaivāptyai

vāsaḥśataṃ dakṣiṇā rūpaṃ vā etatpuruṣasya yadvāsastasmādyameva kaṃ ca

suvāsasamāhuḥ ko nvayamiti rūpasamṛddho hi bhavati rūpeṇaivainaṃ samardhayati

śatam bhavati śatāyurvai puruṣaḥ śatendriya āyurevendriyaṃ vīryamātmandhatte

tadyatpunaḥ punaḥ pariplavate tasmātpāriplavaṃ ṣaṭtriṃśataṃ daśāhānācaṣṭe

ṣaṭtriṃśadakṣarā bṛhatī bārhatāḥ paśavo bṛhatyaivāsmai paśūnavarunddhe

saṃvatsare paryavete dīkṣā prājāpatyamālabhyotsīdantīṣṭayaḥ purohitasyāgniṣu

samabhavattenaivainaṃ tadrūpeṇa samardhayati tadyatso'gniṣṭho bhavati madhyaṃ

vā etadyūpānāṃ yadagniṣṭho madhyametatprāṇānāṃ yannāsike sva evainaṃ tadāyatane

atha yadāpomayaṃ teja āsīt yo gandhaḥ sa sārdhaṃ samavadrutya cakṣuṣṭa

udabhinatsa eṣa vanaspatirabhavatpotudārustasmātsa surabhirgandhāddhi

samabhavattasmādu jvalanastejaso hi samabhavattenaivainaṃ tadrūpeṇa samardhayati

tadyattāvabhito'gniṣṭham bhavatastasmādime abhito nāsikāṃ cakṣuṣī sva evainau

tadāyatane dadhāti

atha yatkuntāpamāsīt yo majjā sa sārdhaṃ samavadrutya śrotrata udabhinatsa eṣa

vanaspatirabhavadbilvastasmāttasyāntarataḥ sarvameva phalamādyam bhavati

tasmādu hāridra iva bhavati hāridra iva hi majjā tenaivainaṃ tadrūpeṇa

samardhayatyantare paitudāruvau bhavato bāhye bailvā antare hi cakṣuṣī bāhye

śrotre sva evaināṃstadāyatane dadhāti

asthibhya evāsya khadiraḥ samabhavat tasmātsa dāruṇo bahusāro dāruṇamiva hyasthi

tenaivainaṃ tadrūpeṇa samardhayatyantare bailvā bhavanti bāhye khādirā antare hi

majjāno bāhyānyasthīni sva evaināṃstadāyatane dadhāti

māṃsebhya evāsya palāśaḥ samabhavat tasmātsa bahuraso lohitaraso lohitamiva hi

māṃsaṃ tenaivainaṃ tadrūpeṇa samardhayatyantare khādirā bhavanti bāhye pālāśa

antarāṇi hyasthīni bāhyāni māṃsāni sva evaināṃstadāyatane dadhāti

atha yadekaviṃśatirbhavanti ekaviṃśatyaratnaya ekaviṃśo vā eṣa tapati dvādaśa

māsāḥ pañcartavastraya ime lokā asāvāditya ekaviṃśaḥ so'śvamedha eṣa

prajāpatirevametam prajāpatiṃ yajñaṃ kṛtsnaṃ saṃskṛtya

tasminnekaviṃśatimagnīṣomīyānpaśūnālabhate teṣāṃ samānaṃ

hi soma inmade'vitāsi sunvato vṛktabarhiṣa iti paṅktīśca ṣaṭpadāśca śastvaikāhike

savitarityanucaro'bhivānbhibhūtyai rūpamudu ṣya devaḥ savitā damūnā iti sāvitraṃ

samardhayati marudbhyo vaiśyamm viśo vai maruto viśameva tadviśā samardhayati

tapase śūdram tapo vai śūdrastapa eva tattapasā samardhayatyevametā devatā

yathārūpam paśubhiḥ samardhayati tā enaṃ samṛddhāḥ samardhayanti sarvaiḥ kāmaiḥ

tvatparimaṇḍalāni te'nudanta hyenāndigbhya ubhe diśāvantareṇa vidadhāti prācīṃ ca

dakṣiṇāṃ caitasyāṃ ha diśi pitṛlokasya dvāraṃ dvāraivainam pitṛlokam prapādayati

sraktibhirdikṣu pratitiṣṭhatītareṇātmanāvantaradikṣu tadenaṃ sarvāsu dikṣu

pratiṣṭhāpayati

sītām kṛṣati vāyuḥ punātviti jaghanārdhena dakṣiṇāgnerbhrājaseti dakṣiṇārdhena

athātmānam vikṛṣati tadyadeva samvatsare'nnaṃ

tasminnevainametatpratiṣṭhāpayati tūṣṇīmaparimitābhiraparimitohyasau lokaḥ

athainadvimuñcati kṛtvā tatkarma yasmai karmaṇa enadyuṅkte vimucyantāmusriyā

ityetasmā u hi karmaṇa usriyā yujyante taddakṣiṇodasyatyudagitaraddaivaṃ caiva

tatpitryam ca vyākaroti

atha sarvauṣadham vapati yadevādaḥ sarvauṣadhaṃ

tadetadbahvībhistadvapatyekayedaṃ daivaṃ caiva tatpitryaṃ ca vyākarotyaśvatthe vo

niṣadanam parṇe vo vasatiṣkṛteti jyogjīvātumevaibhya etadāśāste tatho

haiṣāmekaiko'paro jarasānupraiti

athainannivapati iyam vai pṛthivī pratiṣṭhāsyāmevainametatpratiṣṭhāyām

pratiṣṭhāpayati purādityasyodayāttira-iva vai pitarastira-iva rātristira eva tatkaroti

yathā kurvato'bhyudiyāttadenamubhayorahorātrayoḥ pratiṣṭhāpayati

savitā te śarīrāṇi māturupastha āvapatviti savitaivāsyaitacarīrāṇyasyai pṛthivyai

māturupastha āvapati tasyai pṛthivi śambhaveti yathaivāsmā iyaṃ śaṃ

syādevametadāha prajāpatau tvā devatāyāmupodake loke nidadhāmyasāviti nāma

gṛhṇātyayam vai loka upodakastadenam prajāpatau devatāyāmupodake loke nidadhāti

atha kañcidāha etām diśamanavānantsṛtvā kumbham prakṣīyāṇaprekṣamāṇa ehīti

tatra japati param mṛtyo anu parehi panthāṃ yaste anya itaro devayānāt cakṣuṣmate

śṛṇvate te bravīmi mā naḥ prajāṃ rīriṣo mota vīrāniti jyogjīvātumevaibhya

etadāśāste tatho haiṣāmekaiko'paro jarasānupraiti

13.8.3.[5]

athainaṃ yathāṅgaṃ kalpayati śam vātaḥ śam hi te ghṛṇiḥ śam te bhavantviṣṭakāḥ

śam te bhavantvagnayaḥ pārthivāso mā tvābhiśūśucan kalpantāṃ te diśastubhyamāpaḥ

śivatamāstubhyam bhavantu sindhavaḥ antarikṣaṃ śivam tubhyaṃ kalpantāṃ te diśaḥ

sarvā ityetadevāsmai sarvaṃ kalpayatyetadasmai śivaṃ karoti

atha trayodaśa pādamātrya iṣṭakā alakṣaṇāḥ kṛtā bhavanti yā evāmūragnāviṣṭakāstā

etā yajuṣā tā upadadhāti tūṣṇīmimā daivaṃ caiva tatpitryaṃ ca vyākaroti

trayodaśa bhavanti trayodaśa māsāḥ samvatsara ṛtuṣvevainametatsamvatsare

pratiṣṭhāyām pratiṣṭhāpayati

pādamātryo bhavanti pratiṣṭhā vai pādaḥ pratiṣṭhāmevāsmai karotyalakṣaṇā

bhavanti tira-iva vai pitarastira-iva tadyadalakṣaṇaṃ tira eva tattiraḥ karoti

tāsāmekām madhye prācīmupadadhāti sa ātmā tisraḥ

purastānmūrdhasa+hitāstacirastisro dakṣiṇataḥ sa dakṣiṇaḥ pakṣastisra uttarataḥ sa

uttaraḥ pakṣastisraḥ paścāttatpucaṃ so'syaiṣa pakṣapucavānātmā yathaivāgnestathā

atha pradarātpurīṣamāhartavā āha etaddhāsyāḥ pitryamanatiriktamatho aghameva

tadbaddhṛ karotyasminnu haike'vāntaradeśe karṣūṃ khātvā tato'bhyāhāraṃ kurvanti

parikṛṣantyu haike dakṣiṇataḥ paścāduttaratastato'bhyāhāraṃ kurvanti sa yathā

kāmayeta tathā kuryāt

tadvai na mahatkuryāt nenmahadagham karavāṇīti yāvānudbāhuḥ

puruṣastāvatkṣatriyasya kuryānmukhadaghnam brāhmaṇasyopasthadaghnaṃ striyā

ūrudaghnam vaiśyasyāṣṭhīvaddaghnaṃ śūdrasyaivamvīryā hyeta iti

13.8.3.[12]

adhojānu tveva kuryāt tathāparasmā avakāśaṃ na karoti tasya kriyamāṇasya

tejanīmuttarato dhārayanti prajā ha sā prajāmeva taduttarato dhārayanti tāṃ na

nyasyeddhṛtvā vaināmūḍhvā vā gṛheṣūcrayetprajāmeva tadgṛheṣūcrayati

13.8.3.[13]

kṛtvā yavānvapati agham me yavayānityavakābhiḥ pracādayati kam me'saditi

darbhaiḥ pracādayatyarūkṣatāyai

13.8.4.[1]

athainacaṅkubhiḥ pariṇihanti pālāśam purastādbrahma vai palāśo

brahmapurogavamevainaṃ svargaṃ lokaṃ gamayati śamīmayamuttarataḥ śam

me'saditi vāraṇam paścādagham me vārayātā iti vṛtraśaṅkuṃ

dakṣiṇato'ghasyaivānatyayāya

13.8.4.[2]

atha dakṣiṇataḥ parivakre khananti te kṣīreṇa codakena ca pūrayanti te

hainamamuṣmiṃlokeṛkṣite kulye upadhāvataḥ saptottarastā udakena pūrayanti na ha

vai sapta sravantīraghamatyetumarhatyaghasyaivānatyayāya

13.8.4.[3]

aśmanastrīṃstrīnprakiranti tā abhyuttarantyaśmanvatī rīyate

saṃrabhadhvamuttiṣṭhata pratarata sakhāyaḥ atrā jahīmo'śivā ye

asañcivānvayamuttaremābhi vājāniti yathaiva yajustathā bandhuḥ

13.8.4.[4]

apāmārgairapamṛjate aghameva tadapamṛjate'pāghamapa kilviṣamapa kṛtyāmapo

rapaḥ apāmārga tvamasmadapa duḥṣvapnyaṃ suveti yathaiva yajustathā bandhuḥ

13.8.4.[5]

yatrodakam bhavati tatsnānti sumitriyā na āpa oṣadhayaḥ santvityañjalināpa upācati

vajro vā āpo vajreṇaivaitanmitradheyaṃ kurute durmitriyāstasmai santu

yo'smāndveṣṭi yaṃ caparāsiñcettenaiva tam parābhāvayati

13.8.4.[6]

sa y!di sthāvarā āpo bhavanti sthāpayantyeṣām pāpmānamatha yadi vahanti

vahantyevaiṣām pādmānaṃ snātvāhatāni vāsāṃsi paridhāyānaḍuhaḥ

pucamanvārabhyāyantyāsneyo vā anaḍvānagnimukhā eva

tatpitṛlokājjīvalokamabhyāyantyatho agnirvai patho'tivoḍā sa enānativahati

13.8.4.[7]

udvayaṃ tamasasparīti etāmṛcaṃ japanto yanti tattamasaḥ pitṛlokādādityaṃ

jyotirabhyāyanti tebhya āgatebhya āñjanābhyañjane prayacantyeṣa ha

mānuṣo'laṅkārastenaiva tam mṛtyumantardadhate

13.8.4.[8]

atha gṛheṣvagniṃ samādhāya vāraṇānparidhīnparidhāya vāraṇena sruveṇāgnaya

āyuṣmata āhutiṃ juhotyagnirvā ā āyuṣmānāyuṣa īṣṭe tamevaibhya āyuryācatyagna

āyūṃṣi pavasa iti puro'nuvākyābhājanam

13.8.4.[9]

atha juhoti āyuṣmānagne haviṣā vṛdhāno ghṛtapratīko ghṛtayoniredhi gṛtam pītvā

madhu cāru gavyam piteva putramabhirakṣatādimāntsvāheti

yathaivainānabhirakṣedyathābhigopāyedevametadāha

13.8.4.[10]

tasya purāṇo'naḍvāndakṣiṇā purāṇā yavāḥ purāṇyāsandī sopabarhaṇaiṣā nvādiṣṭā

dakṣiṇā kāmaṃ yathāśraddham bhūyasīrdadyāditi nvagnicitaḥ

13.8.4.[11]

athānagnicitaḥ etadeva bhūmijoṣaṇametatsamānam karma yadanyadagnikarmaṇaḥ

kurvādāhitāgneḥ śarkarā ityu haika āhuryā evāmūragnyādheyaśarkarāstā etā iti na

kuryādityeka īśvaro haitā anagnicitaṃ santaptoriti sa yathā kāmayeta tathā kuryāt

13.8.4.[12]

maryādāyā eva loṣṭamāhṛtya antareṇa nidadhātīmaṃ jīvebhyaḥ paridhiṃ dadhāmi

maiṣāṃ nu gādaparo arthametam śataṃ jīvantu śaradaḥ purūcīrantarmṛtyuṃ

dadhatām parvateneti jīvebhyaścaivaitām pitṛbhyaśca maryādāṃ karotyasambhedāya

tasmādu haitajjīvāśca pitaraśca na sandṛśyante
