Pobre y desnudas vas, Filosofía,
dijo quien la entendió bastantemente:
nunca yo estuve de este verso ausente
y así conmigo habló quien lo escribía.

Hállome bien sin ella pues no es mía,
estoy con ella alguna vez presente,
véola por un velo transparente
y enamórame menos cada día.

Muy bien está lo hecho, no os asombre,
¡oh Musa!, el ignorar este argumento,
que muchos necios han ganado nombre.

De que yo no lo sé basta el intento,
que dar (sin natural) letras a un hombre
ex poner grillos al entendimiento.
